The good: The Insignia Pilot is an incredible value for a media player, and it's packed with features: Bluetooth, FM radio, line-in recording, photo and video support, and Rhapsody DNA Integration. It plays back a wide variety of audio formats and is compatible with both Mac and Windows PCs.

The bad: The Insignia Pilot's sound quality is only so-so, and it's on the large side for a flash player.

The bottom line: The Insignia Pilot won't please audio purists, but it's a great option for feature hounds who appreciate a good value--and the ability to listen to music sans wires.

Apple iPod Classic (160 GB)

Meet the new iPod. It looks familiar, huh? That's because Apple's iPod classic is essentially a replacement for the iPod video, or fifth-generation iPod. The main improvement here is storage space—what was once a 30GB or 80GB player now comes with 80GB of memory or a whopping 160GB . Other changes include a revamped user interface, which is the same as in the iPod touch and iPod nano, and a slight change to the physical design. New features? Not really, unless you consider Cover Flow a feature. The iTunes Wi-Fi Store and Internet browser are currently found only on the iPhone and the touch. Despite the fact that other devices such as the Zune 80GB offer stiff competition, the classic remains an excellent device, especially in its 160GB flavor.

Samsung neXus XM Satellite Radio/MP3 Players Unveiled!

As promised, here it is! The Samsung neXus XM Satellite Radio/MP3 Players.

Samsung's first MP3 players with XM Satellite Radio cability. The Samsung neXus comes in two version - on can store up to 50 hours of content (1 Gig storage), the other can store up to 25 hours (512Mb). These two devices utilize XM's Connect & Play technology. Each Samsung neXus device comes with an XM Satellite Radio home docking kit, which allows the device to receive XM Satellite Radio in the home.

Digital content from XM can be stored when the Samsung neXus player is connected to a home or car dock. The stored content can be played anywhere for a totally portable listening experience. The Samsung neXus player enables you to store songs from your personal digital music collection, including digital music files (MP3 and WMA files) purchased from a variety of digital music services. With the Samsung neXus players, XM subscribers can "tag" the songs they hear on XM for purchase through the XM + Napster online service.

The Samsung neXus players also allow users to create and manage customized playlists, combining both personal digital music files and recorded XM programming.
